How to attach task to a time entry 

This guide shows how to attach a task to a time entry in HubSpot using Allocade. By linking tasks to your time logs, you ensure more accurate tracking and reporting of your work.

Step 1: Go to the HubSpot sidebar, click on CRM and select the object you want

Step 2: Once you've chosen the object (for example, Tickets), click on the specific record you're interested in

Step 3: In the middle panel, click the "Create task" button

Step 4: A pop-up will appear. Fill in the required information.

🚨 It's important to complete the Notes field - without it, you won't be able to attach the task to the time entry. After filling in the form, click "Create"

Step 5: Close the pop-up, then go to the right sidebar and click  "Open time tracker

Step 6: A pop-up will open. In the dropdown menu "Add type (Opt.)", select "Task"

Step 7: In the search bar, type the note you entered in Step 4, select it, and click "Start" to begin live tracking with the task attached
